Just a little tip today…

I let my product ‘Short Report Profits‘, lie stagnant for a while. Traffic dropped to about 20 uniques per day and I’d get about one sale every couple of days.

But my traffic now is over 200 per day, I’m getting many sales and subscribers every day and I expect it to all grow significantly.

This all happened because I bumped up affiliate commissions from 60% to 75%.

I’ve found it MUCH easier to get JV partners and affiliates to promote now due to the higher affiliate commissions and it all snowballs from there.

I contacted a few people the other day and I’ve had three or four big-ish marketers promote. Smaller affiliates must of seen their emails and are also now passively promoting through their blogs and their websites. This has boosted my ranking in the Clickbank marketplace. I went from Page 10 and I’m now on Page 5 in the Marketing > How To’s category. This means more affiliates will find me in the marketplace, which will lead to me rising even more, leading to even more affiliates and so on.

I’m still rising. 2 hours ago I was ranked 50th, now I’m 44th.

Admittedly, I’m only getting $6 per sale with the new 75% commissions, but that’s $6 I wouldn’t of had otherwise. Plus, I’m getting subscribers and I have a good backend strategy in place.

So, if you have an affiliate programme, consider raising your affiliate’s commissions.

Just take a look at the first page of the main categories at https://www.clickbank.com/marketplace.htm

You’ll notice that nearly all of the top products are paying 75% commissions.

I’ve been reading a lot recently about online business. I’ve read from the likes of John Reese and other high profile marketers, and one thing I notice that they all say is that TRANSPARENCY is very important in online business. Anybody could hide behind a computer screen and scam you.

By transparency I mean that it’s important for your customers and prospects to know who you are and what you’re about.

It helps to build a relationship of trust, and at the end of the day, it will make you more sales and more profits.

It made me realise that transparency is one of the things that was missing in my business… and now it’s time to rectify that.

Up until a year ago, no one online knew I was a teenager. I thought it would damage my sales and that no one would take me seriously, but it didn’t (apart from a few).

Today it’s time to go up the next step - it’s time to SHOW you who I am.

This has also been brought about due to a few recent accusations that I’m not really a teenager. Apparently I’m “too clever” to be a teenager according to one person. I’ll take it as a compliment.

Anyway, there’s me below.

Incidentally, I added my photo to my salespage at Short Report Profits and it actually INCREASED conversions.

It just goes to show, it doesn’t matter how ugly you are, transparency will help build trust with your readers and increase sales.

Try it on your sites.

In 9 days I get my A-level results. These results determine whether or not I get into university for September. They are the most important results of my life - and it’s fair to say I’m more than a little bit worried.

If I don’t get into uni, then I have some huge decisions to make.

Do I do IM full time? (My parents wouldn’t be too happy with this)

Or, do I go and get a J.O.B?

Ideally, I’ll get the results I need, I’ll have an amazing time at uni and continue to work on my business. But, just in case it doesn’t work out like that, then I have some big plans for my business to explode my profits and hopefully, convince my parents that Internet Marketing is a legitimate (and VERY profitable) career choice.

Here’s how I plan to make most of my money in the next few months (Hint: Copy me and make money, too!)

One thing before we begin. When deciding on whether to go with IM full time, Rob Benwell is a major influence. He’s only a few years older than me and makes an incredible amount online (we’re talking 7 figures per year here). Step 1
Find a market

I’ve done this already. The natural health market. Find a market where money is being spent already. Find a big market with lots of potential customers, and lots of potential sub-niches.

Step 2
Create a high-ish value product

I’ve done this part already, too. Create a product for this market that you can sell for around $47 or more. I have my product developed already, it’s called ‘Rejuvenate: Turn Back The Clock’. I’m just preapring the salesletter, having graphics created and contacting potential JV partners. Step 3
Launch!

I haven’t got to this part yet. The next step is to launch your product to the public. It’s important to have many high profile JV partners promoting the product to create a buzz. Build a list of prospects and a list of buyers.

Step 4
Short reports

Next it’s time to create short 8-12 page reports that deal with more specific topics. Whip up a quick salesletter and sell the reports for $7 and use a script like Rapid Action Profits to pay affiliates and JV partners 100% commissions. Build a list of buyers and promote your higher value product to them. Create more short reports and cross promote. The more short reports you set up, the more opportunities you have to catch prospects and buyers.

Step 5
High value products

By now you should have big subscriber lists of prospects and buyers. Now you can create a high value product (I’m going to go with a membership site charging about $20 per month). Again, find affiliates and JV partners and have a big launch.

Step 6
New markets

Once you’ve exhausted (or got bored) of your first niche, move onto another one. Do exactly the same. Create a high-ish value product, have a launch, set up cheap short reports, capture email addresses and then market a high value product.

This business plan may look a bit dysfunctional. It sounded very simple in my head, but sometimes I’m not very good at getting thoughts onto paper, so I hope you understand it. If you don’t, then leave a comment below.

Bare with me in this blog post, I may talk a bit fast because I’m so excited… for two reasons.

Firstly, I just found out I’ve won a FREE copy of Traffic Secrets 2.0

Each person who entered had to come up with the best way for a complete newbie to make money on the internet in the SHORTEST time possible. Click here for my answer. Secondly, I’m buzzing because I’m just overflowing with ideas to make money right now. A lot of money! And I’m going to share with you how you can do it in this blog post.

It’s a method I’ve talked about before but I made it sound so much more complicated than it really is. Here it is. In it’s simplest form. Let’s go.

Step 1

Create a report in a HOT niche. Weight loss, health, make money, self improvement, relationships, dating - they’re all hot.

We don’t care about keyword research here. We just want a HUGE niche with proven buyers… and LOTS of them.

The report should be about 10 pages and contain GREAT information. Hire an expert to write it for you if you want. I just paid $150 for a 5,000 word report in the health niche.

Step 2

Get some graphics, write a sales letter that CONVERTS (at least 5% conversion) and sell the report for about $10.

Step 3

Set up an affiliate script on your site, such as the Seven Dollar Script or Rapid Action Profits. Pay 100% commissions for affiliates and have it go directly to their Paypal account. Affiliates love instant payment and will be chomping at the bit to promote your product, and combined with the 100% commissions, just try and stop them.

Step 4

Go find some affiliates - believe me it’s easy. If you’ve created a report in one of the major niches that I revealed in step 1, then you’ll have no problem finding them. There’s thousands of them out there. Email them, phone them, send them a letter. Do what you can to get them to promote your product.

Step 5

Build a list of buyers. Send everyone who purchases the report to an opt-in page. Tell them that in order to receive their purchase they should enter their name and email address. This ensures a 100% subscribe rate.

Once they’ve done that, redirect them to the download page where you can recommend a complimentary product that sells for at least $47. You’ll find that about 10% of your buyers will also purchase the backend product (if it’s a good offer).

Step 6

Create other short reports in this market. Promote them to your lists. This time you’ll get 100% of sales from your list.

Ask the same affiliates and new ones to promote your new report, thus sending you new subscribers.

Create another report and sell it to your list which will be even bigger this time which means profits will be even higher.

Do it again, and again, and again, and again.

Move onto other mass markets and make even more money.

It’s so easy. I’ve asked my writer to start working on a few products in the health niche. I’ve just been delivered the first one. It’s just a case of setting up the sales process.

I was surfing the Warrior Forum yesterday and came across this post

If you were talking to someone brand new to the Internet and they asked you how could they make money in the shortest time possible, what would you tell them?

This is a pretty common strategy that I used recently and it made me my first $18 within about 16 hours and I only used 10% of the strategies in this post.

Step #1

Go to Clickbank.com or your favourite affiliate network and choose a product to promote. It doesn’t matter about keywords, competition or anything like that - just don’t choose a product in the IM niche. Make sure the product solves a desperate problem.

Choose a product that has a high % payout (above 60%), that pays at least $15, has a well designed salesletter and has been proven to convert visitors to sales.

Step #2

Now that you’ve chosen your product, you need to register a domain. Head on over to NameCheap.com and register a domain relevant to the product you have chosen to promote. Get a .info domain if you want - it’s much cheaper!

Redirect the domain through your affiliate link. It’s very simple to do.

Step #3

Now you have to turn into a content producing machine. Spend an entire day pumping out (quality) article after article. Instant Article Wizard might help with this process.  Let’s say you chose a product on lowering high blood pressure, write articles that agitate the problem, such as:

The Hidden Dangers Of High Blood Pressure
What You Don’t Know About High Blood Pressure & How It Could Kill You

Also, write articles that offer “mini cures”. These articles offer solutions, but not enough info to COMPLETELY relieve the problem. Such articles could be:

5 Herbs To Lower High Blood Pressure
5 Foods To Lower High Blood Pressure
5 Exercises To Lower High Blood Pressure
Garlic: The Unknown Cure For High Blood Pressure

If you work hard, you should be able to produce 15-20 articles by the end of the day. Although, I guess it depends on whether or not you REALLY want to change your life for the better.

Take a sleep, have a rest and get ready for the next day.

Step #4

Now it’s time to publish your content. We want to get our articles in as many high profile places on the internet as possible. Make sure you have a resource box with a call to action and link to your domain which redirects to the affiliate product.

Here’s how I’d publish the content to make the most of every article:

1. I’d take ALL of the articles and publish them to a free blog. Simply go to Blogger.com, get your free blog set up and publish all 20 articles over the course of five or six days. Throughout the articles link to your redirect domain and stick links and banners down the sidebar of your blog.

2. I’d take ALL of the articles I’d written and publish them to:

- EzineArticles.com
- SearchWarp.com
- AssociatedContent.com
- GoArticles.com
- ArticlesBase.com

If I was writing in the Health, Wealth or Self Improvement niches I’d also publish to SelfGrowth.com

3. Again, take all articles and publish to a new Squidoo lens over the course of about 10 days. Add some interactivity, such as a guestbook, polls and add other modules such as Amazon books and a links module. Scatter links to your redirect domain throughout. Join groups and make comments on other lenses linking back to your lens.

4. Take some of your best articles and convert them into videos. It’s simple to do, I just use Windows Movie Maker. I put one paragraph on each slide, scatter in a few images and some cheesy background music and stick a link to your redirect domain at the beginning and end of the video. Post to YouTube (and other video sites if you wish). In your YouTube video description, make sure the first thing you put is your redirect domain.

5. Now it’s time to maximise our exposure and we do this by getting on high traffic niche specific blogs and websites.

Go to Google.com and search “your keyword blog”. So I’d type in “high blood pressure blog” and go through all of the top blogs collecting contact emails. I’d email them explaining that I had some free content that they could use on their blog, as long as they gave me a link back. I’d also find newsletter owners at places such as BestEzines.com and contact them saying they could use any of my articles as newsletter content (It’s amazing how many people accept). If you want, you could even pay for ads.

Step #5

Let’s go back to the blog we just published. It won’t be getting any traffic yet because we don’t have any backlinks, but we don’t need any. We’re going to create our own traffic.

Yahoo Answers provides a fantastic opportunity for marketers. I’ve done a few experiments and found that for each answer I give, I get on average around 2.5 visits. I know that doesn’t sound like many, but this is just about as targeted traffic as you can get.

Go to answers.yahoo.com and register an account. Then choose the category that best resembles the topic of your articles and click on that. Now it’s just a case of waiting for the right questions to pop up. Refresh the page every two or three minutes and see the new questions that have come up. When one comes up on the topic of your articles then answer it simply by providing a little text and then a link to the article on your blog that will best answer the question.

This will send highly targeted traffic to your blog, the visitor will read your article and then more than likely click on one of the links to your affiliate product. Because the traffic is so highly targeted, these visitors will probably convert better than regular traffic.

You can answer up to 20 questions per day, which could bring you around 50 visitors per day. Once you advance to the next level you can answer 40 questions per day. You could even hire someone off Elance to answer questions for you for very reasonable prices.

You might be wondering why we don’t just link straight to our affiliate product within our answers and the simple reason is that you’ll be banned within a few hours.

Step #6

If the sales are pouring in, then keep creating content, keep publishing it. Keep doing the same things, but bigger.

To make even more money, move onto another niche and another product. Apply what you’ve learnt from your first attempt to your next go to maximise your profits.

Like I said at the beginning on this post, I made $18 within just 16 hours and all I’d done so far was get published on GoArticles.com and on one fairly small blog.

I made my first dollars online back in 2005. I still remember it. It was one of the best feeling’s I’ve had to date. Once you see that first bit of money trickle into your account, it makes you realise “I can actually do this!”

I made my first dollars by promoting an affiliate product through a viral report. I made about $50 in total for about three hours work. Not much, I know. But it showed me it can be done. And the thing is, I did EVERYTHING wrong.

Here’s a quick overview of the process:

1) Find a product to promote. I’ll use an example of a rebounder. You know, those little trampolines that people use to lose weight? Sign up with the affiliate programme and get your links to promote a few rebounders.

2) Write a report promoting the product but still providing decent information. So, for this report I would write about how to use rebounders to lose weight. The report only needs to be about five pages and throughout I would scatter my affiliate links for the rebounders.

3) Distribute as many copies of this report as you can (without using underhand tactics or SPAM).

Sounds easy, doesn’t it?

When I did it first time, I got it all wrong. I wrote in the IM niche (when I hadn’t made any money myself), the report was very poor quality, I promoted a completely unrelated product and I used underhand tactics to promote… BUT, I STILL made money!

Do you see how easy this method can be?

I recommend promoting physical products for this method. For example, you could write a report about how to take the perfect photograph and then at the end recommend the best digital camera for photography. Another great report would be a ‘review’ report. You could review the top 10 best digital cameras, or the top 10 golf clubs. The people who download this report are already interested to buy and it’s likely they’ll buy THROUGH you and you get the affiliate commission.

This is an easy way to make money online. It’s by no means a long term method. But, if you want a few bucks, give it a go!

It’s true!

You can get sales and subscribers whenever you want them with a very simple traffic strategy.

I’ve known about this method for many months, but haven’t used it to its fullest potential, but today I thought I’d give it a go.

So, what’s the method?

Yahoo Answers… with a twist.

You’ve probably heard of it, but just in case you haven’t, head over to www.answers.yahoo.com and check it out.

Anyway, today, here’s exactly what I did.

I have a variety of sites in sub-niches of the health niche. One of these niches is how to get rid of stretch marks (I know, strange niche for an 18 year old guy).

So I logged onto Yahoo Answers and clicked on the “Health” category on the right hand side. This will show you all the most recently asked questions.

I saw a question about stretch marks, so answered it and included a link to my squeeze page where I offer a free eCourse about getting rid of stretch marks.

Here’s a picture of the question:

I’m not overweight at all, but I still have some pretty obvious stretch marks on my upper arms and upper thighs. I feel so self-conscious whenever I wear short sleeves or go swimming! How can I hide them, or even better, get rid of them? Please help!

Can you see the desperation in the question? This person is desperate to get rid of their stretch marks. I’m sure they’d pay a lot of money to do so. These are your ideal customers. They are as highly targeted as you can get.

In this case I just linked to my opt-in page within my answer.

Anyway, I answered this question, left the Yahoo Answers site and went about my daily business (watching TV)

I checked my email about 20 minutes later and was very surprised to see 3 subscribers to my stretch marks list within a few minutes of eachother. Click here for proof.

I normally average around 2-3 subscribers per day for this niche, but achieved that in 15 minutes by answering just one question.

If you consider that each subscriber is worth about 30 cents per month for me, then I just made myself an extra $1 per month, or $12 per year, with about 60 seconds work.

Considering you can answer 20 questions per day on Yahoo Answers (until you advance to the next level), then that could mean 60 subscribers (or $20 per month, or $240 per year) for less than an hours work. Plus, that’s TARGETED subscribers.

Admittedly, some answers may not perform so well, but some might explode and get you even more opt-ins.

Whilst it’s true that you’ll get more traffic in the first few minutes, this is also long term traffic. The answers will rank in the search engines and sometimes for very competetive and highly searched keywords.

This will work for selling your own products, selling other products as an affiliate, getting subscribers and even linking to content pages with adsense embedded.

So, here’s what you can do.

1) Go to Yahoo Answers

2) Choose the category that best corresponds with your site that you want to promote

3) Regularly refresh the page to see the new questions being asked and answer relevant one’s with an informative, helpful answer that includes a link to your site.

4) Repeat until you’ve answered the maximum amount of questions for the day.

5) See if you’ve achieved any success and report back here with your results by leaving a comment below.

I’m not going to promise that Yahoo Answers will make you rich, but it’s an excellent strategy to add to your arsenal.

I hope that you know by now that niche marketing is where the real money is. I hope that you also know that choosing a profitable niche market is incredibly difficult yet so very important. This article plans to help you in your quest to brainstorm an endless stream of niche ideas and select a profitable niche market.

The first method of brainstorming potential niche ideas is to consider the objects around you. I bet right now you are sitting on or next to an object which could be turned into a highly profitable niche market.

As I look around now, I see a glass which just contained a strawberry milkshake; I could quite easily write a milkshake recipes eBook and sell it. I also see a digital camera; I could write an information product about taking the perfect photos using a digital camera, or set up a website with a few articles about digital cameras and link to a few digital camera affiliate programmes and Google adsense ads.

Another method of brainstorming niche ideas is by analysing the categories of major websites such as eBay. This may sound simple, but it can uncover some hidden gems that you would never of though of on your own. If you go to ebay.com and find a list of all the major categories, such as Sporting Goods and then you delve a little deeper and look at all of the sub-categories for that, you will find further categories, such as Cycling, Football, Soccer etc. All of these categories can be developed into a niche market. For example, for soccer, you could create an eBook about how to develop skills, how to be a coach, mental preparation for soccer matches. The list is endless and there are thousands of sub-categories on the eBay market place. Take a while to browse through them and make a note of any potential categories that can be developed into profitable niche markets.

The final method that will be covered in this article of brainstorming niche ideas is by considering your hobbies and passions and how you can help others by teaching them what you know. If you enjoy and are good at martial arts, you may like to create an info product which deals with all aspects of martial arts. If your friend has a passion for travelling to certain destinations, you may like them to team up with you to help you create an info product about their favourite destination.

Niche selection really is that important. Get it wrong and you’ve wasted a huge amount of time and money on a business that is not going anywhere fast and is unlikely to be developed much further than it already is. Get it right, and it could be a huge goldmine churning out cash day after day, hour after hour and minute after minute.

Many marketers will tell you that the real money on the internet is to be found through the creation and marketing of your own info products. That may well be true, but who has the time to create a 40-60 page eBook and then market it? What if there was an easier option? An option that enabled you to compile a high quality 40-60 page info product in just a few hours, and normally in less than one.

The easiest method of info product creation in under an hour is by compiling free reprint and private label articles together into an ordered manual. This is my favourite method because it enables you to create an info product at lightning speed, of excellent quality and you get to learn and have fun at the same time.

The first thing you need to do is choose a niche topic to base your info product about. I’ve written about doing that before on this blog. Once that’s chosen, create an outline of the information you want to include in the eBook. The outline need not be detailed as you can always add to it later on.

Now that your outline is created, you should have a general idea of what information, hence what articles, you would like to include in your info product.

The next step is to open your favourite article directory (mine is ezinearticles.com) and pluck articles that fit your outline and paste them into your eBook. The most important thing you must do here is to add the author’s resource box at the end of the article. Avoiding this will lead to you getting into a lot of trouble and it’s really not worth it.

After carefully selecting and pasting content you should now have a 40-60 page eBook of other authors’ articles compiled into a tidy info product, with the author’s resource boxes, a list of chapters and all legal disclaimers in place. You should have also added a few sentences of your own at the end of each article which leads the reader into the next article.

An alternative to this method is to use private label articles instead of free reprint articles. This means you will no longer have to include other authors’ resource boxes and you can edit the content in any way that you like.

These eBooks are excellent for selling because they are a compilation of some of the most experienced and respected experts in their fields and your eBook will contain more information than the majority of your competition.

The first time you utilize this method, you should be able to create an info product in about three hours, but as you master the skill and continue to produce more and more hot selling eBooks, you should be able to create an eBook in just under an hour.
